That would depend on the vehicle make, model, and options. Check the user manual that came with the vehicle, available online, or at the dealer.
You will have to pull the steering wheel off to get to the switch, after the wheel is off take top cover off steering column and you will see how the switch bolts in.
You put the hand break on, turn the traction control off and avs, then, finaly find a switch called 4x4 and click it.
The place to where it was towed should have fixed that. Look in your owners manual. It may have an index that explains how to turn on your all wheel drive. It is disabled when vehicles are towed. It could be a switch on your dashboard. I do not have an aztek but it is a switch on my dash. Front wheel drive gets better milage in summer. All wheel drive gets better traction in winter.

There is a lever under the driver seat.
Some vehicles equipped with a traction control that have both 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive options can turn off traction control before putting the vehicle in gear by switching the vehicle from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive. Vehicles that have 4 wheel drive all the time usually do not allow for traction control to be turned off.
Your 2001 gmc Denali is all time 4 wheel drive. It doesn't turn off. Only the slt, sl, and lower models have a push button 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive.
Either turn the dashboard switch or move the transfer case lever to "4-High", and off you go
Not really possible. You would be allot better off buying an all wheel drive van.
