no it has a timing belt. it's not that hard to replaced
a 1994 Toyota Celica GT has a timing belt.
Chain
I think it has a timing chain
You don't because its a chain!!
They don't have timing chains
From what I have been told by Toyota savvy folk about the 2000-2005 Celica timing chain, it should last the lifetime of the car with no replacement. God bless timing chains vs. belts!!
The 2001 Celica does not have a timing belt... it has a timing chain. The chain is supposed to last, basically, the lifetime of the engine (at least 250k mi.). If it is the chain you are refering to in your question.. wow.. I dunno. For a shop to do it, I would show up with at least $500.00 (probably more).
It has a timing chain.
In a 1994 ( Ford Mustang ) GT : The 5.0 litre V8 engine has a timing CHAIN
In a 1997 Ford Mustang : No timing belt The 3.8 litre V6 engine has ( 1 timing CHAIN ) The 4.6 litre V8 engine in the Mustang GT has ( 1 timing CHAIN to each cylinder head , so there are 2 timing CHAINS )
Yes. Timing belts are key.
