On a 2003 Toyota Sienna, the fuel filter is located in the gas tank. Toyota started putting it there either in 2001 or 2002.
It's inside the Transmission oil pan. Wix Filter # 58888 Hope This Helps.
On the 2004 and later models, there is a mesh filter inside the pan. You have to drop it to change the filter

It is located inside the transmission under the pan. It is referred to as a strainer, not a filter. After dropping the pan, the strainer has to be removed by removing several bolts. It looks like another oil pan under the transmission oil pan.

all you do is drain the fluid from the transmission and replace with dexron III fluid. you can only get out a couple of quarts. the filter is a lifetime metal filter unlike domestic autos.
Nevermind. Finally found it wedged up in the front behind the radiator.
