There is help for children with Down syndrome. Treatment with amino acids from an early age could help children with Down syndrome to improve their speech as well as their mental development, physical development and social behavior.

Those children who received amino acids from an early age usually go to schools alongside children who do not have Down syndrome. They develop well physically and many of them have unapparent features of a person who has Down syndrome.

Even though, currently, there are no cures for this disorder, people who have Down syndrome can live a relatively normal life with the help of a supportive family.

Down syndrome - more formally known as Trisomy 21 - is a genetic disorder in which a person is born with all or part of an extra 21st chromosome. As it is a genetic condition, there is no treatment per se. Although you can treat some of the symptoms that may result from it, e.g., babies born with Down syndrome often have heart problems, which usually can be fixed.

Down syndrome can be treated and the ability to live a normal life can be improved using some of the latest techniques used in neurology. A few clinics offer the treatment of this condition using amino acid compounds that can dramatically improve the person's abilities. One of the clinics that treat these types of conditions is based in Prague and has clients from all over Europe and USA.
