I believe you turn your headlights on low beam and then pull out on the headlight switch
Try turning your headlights on ( on low beam ) and then pull out on your headlight switch ( that seems to be quite common on the newer Fords )
You can adjusts the headlight by turning the headlight adjustment screws. The adjustment screws are on each side of the headlight.
