How do you get a mesprit?
It is quite hard. I assume you mean pokemon diamond/pearl. 1. Battle Dialga/Palkia at spear pillar 2. Go to the cavern in Lake Verity 3. Mesprit will run away. Rowan will approach you. 4. Go to Jubilife city to get the pokemon marking app. 5. You will have to chase Mesprit around quite a bit. It will run away whenever you approach it. If it lands in the middle of a city and you go to attack it without it running away, there are two options. 6a. Use a master ball. Throw it. Get it over with. 6b. Use zubat/golbat/crobat's MEAN LOOK to make sure it wont run away. Use a bajillion other balls trying to catch it.

If you've already spoken to Mesprit and it's flown away you need to track it on the Marking Map app on your Poketch. Go to where the flashing black symbol is and try to catch Mesprit when it appears. It's best if you have a really fast Pokemon with Mean Look and Hypnosis or something else that can send Mesprit to sleep. Then keep trying to catch it.
