The way you charge your iPod without using the computer or PlayStation is by purchasing a wall charger. You plug the wall charger up to any plug outlet, then plug one end of your USB cable into the wall charger, and the other end into your iPod. You can bring it anywhere and charge your iPod as long as there is a working plug outlet. Or if you have iPod speakers with a docking station, that will also charge your iPod when they are plugged in. You can purchase either of these items at electronic stores such as Best Buy, or Circuit City. Also at Toys-R-Us in the section of the store with Nintindo games, and the Wii.
