How can you open an iMovie project once it's already been converted to an iDVD project?
The conversion should not have completely gotten rid of the iMovie project that you originally had. Look through your files to see if you still have the iMovie project that you converted to an iDVD project. If you completely converted it, then there's not much else you can do other than trying to see if you can revert it back to an iMovie project.

If it's opening a previous project, just hit the red X button at the corner of the window. It will pop up the selection window for you.
Once you have made an Event in iMovie and have edited it can you then make it a Project?

Once you open Imovie it should be right there just click on it. If not you might have deleted it. There is no way to get it back
