--Yes there is an issue with oil consumption with the 3.5-liter. I have seen and heard of average consumptions to be as much as 1 quart per 1,000 miles.

I have the same problem on my 2001 Olds Intrigue. It appears to be a leak in the trunk deck at the point where the power connects through for the brake light in the spoiler.

Had this problem with 3 of 4 rims on a 99 Intrigue. Tried several tire shops finally had to replace all four rims with after markets since the alloy was severely pitted/damaged in the bead.
Alcohol consumption becomes a problem when one is dependent on it and consumes it irresponsibly, which will affect the drinker and everyone associated with the drinker.
I am having the same problem with my intrigue, it might be 2 things: the crank sensor is bad and needs changing, or the ignition module needs changing. im not %100 that this is the problem but I am currently trying to get mine fixed and that's what I have been told it might be.
Check ignition switch, common problem.
If they are properly equipped with the factory towing package, it shouldn't be a problem
Had the same problem after looking all over finly went to the library. It behind the staster.
Probably the ignition key switch...I have the same problem
