There is an old town under Ypsilanti, Michigan. It was an old mining town buried by the Indians. When silver was discovered there, the town grew, and the area was torn upside down by the frantic search for more silver. Using the examples of beavers, the townspeople build a system of tunnels, and it was there that they unearthed a large Indian burial ground. When the nearby Indian tribes found out about the dishonorable deeds, they mounted a large-scale attack, burned down the town, and covered the area with six feet of dirt. Legend has it that many of the townpeople were trapped in the tunnels. They survived there for 21 years and built a thriving underground economy until a fire destroyed them.
