The school district for Pembroke Pine is the Broward County Public Schools system. In this school system five high schools, three middle schools and 13 elementary schools are maintained. With above average grades these schools of Pembroke Pine are that the national forefront of education. Pembroke pine also houses some branches of major Florida universities, such as Barry (a nationally recognized podiatry school), Broward college, Florida State College and others. If education is what someone is looking for, look no further than Pembroke Pine. The population of Pembroke Pine is mainly white according to the 2006 census, with 75% being Caucasian, 14% African American, 4% Asian and the rest being other races. The average age of it’s citizens is decreasing, much like everywhere else in the country. This is due to the baby boomers starting to retire and no longer wanting their older jobs or starting families. Now would be a better time than ever to start a medical practice in Pembroke Pine. With some many geriatric patients one would never be at a lack for business. Overall Pembroke Pine is a great place to raise a family. With high education rates, low crime rates and affordable housing, this town in the heart of Florida just screams promise. With so many attractions available nearby too, such as beaches, clubs and others, it just makes sense to move to Pembroke Pine.
