The intake manifold are very bad about corroding a hole in them which means that you will have to replace it.
Yes they do at the intake manifold.
Bad thermostat, Low on engine coolant--( coolant leak ) Cracked head, Leaking head gasket,
If it is just water and not coolant, then suspect a leaking windshield, or possibly a A/C condenser drain line stopped up. If it is coolant, then the heater core is leaking and needs replacing.
You don't have to replace it until it starts leaking coolant.
My 97 Tahoe was leaking coolant and I couldn't find anything on the driveway or anywhere else. I took it to my mechanic and it was a rear manifold gasket leak, cost me about 500 dollars.
Coolant leaking from the heater core.
it is a big possibility it is leaking from your water pump. i have a 2001 intrigue 3.5l twin cam v6 leaking from the waterpump, and am currently replacing it as i type this.
You may not have enough coolant. If you've recently drained and replaced your coolant, replaced all the coolant after replacing a leaking line, etc., you may have an air pocket in the system, which will need to be 'burped' out.
A leak in a coolant system can usually be fixed by replacing a hose. If the leak is at the end of the hose, a new clamp might be necessary. If the radiator is leaking, the radiator might need to be replaced.
Depends on where its leaking from. Could be a clamp hasn't been tightened enough. If its coming from elsewhere, it could be a leaking head gasket. Look for coolant in the oil or coming out the tail pipe.
Heater core is leaking and needs replacement
is coolant leaking from engine?or is it leaking from water pump and running down engine and appears to leak from engine
