its the blinker control arm.if you move it back and forth you should see the two other brake lights go on as the brake is pressed.
I just had my Daewoo Leganza brake light switch replaced. It goes under the brake pedal. and now my brake lights work fine.
Check all the fuses and replace all of the blown fuses. If you still have no brake lights check your brake light switch. The brake light circuit also runs through a red cylindrical shaped relay called the "failure sensor" which lights and indicator bulb in the intrument cluster if a brake light bulb or some other bulb has failed. Internal failure in this part will often have the symptom "No brake lights".
It could be one of the anti-lock brake system fuses is bad , a sensor , or some other problem
Have you checked the fuses? Different circuits have different fuses. It may be your wiring harness, but check the fuses first.
it is a break in the wiring harness take a lead from the other side to connect to the light
Check bulbs they are double filamented smaller for brake lights larger for tailights Check fuses Check stop light switch
it has a bad turnsignal switch
Likely to be the brake light switch on the pedal at fault if the bulbs and fuses are good and other lights work ok.
* Brake light switch * Detached wire somewhere * Dead short to ground in the wiring * Bulb socket corroded
Most likely one or both brake light lamp sockets are corroded. This will short the circuit and blow the fuse. The only other most likely cause is a loose wire connection at the socket or fuse holder.
replace brake light switch on brake pedal if it hasn't been done try that
