There are some who will not let it go away. There are some who insist that blacks do not have opportunity in this country, yet we have a black Secretary of State, a black Supreme Court Justice, and a serious black candidate for President. Opportunity exists for all who would learn to work within the system. There are also some who claim that many black people have taken jobs away from other racial groups claiming that quotas give unfair advantage to blacks. Both sides are extremists who seem to want to perpetuate the problems of this nation. Inequities exist, that's just the nature of the world we live in. The solution is for us each to solve our own problems and be the best that WE can be. The only difference between humans and animals is our intellectual ability. If we refuse to strengthen our intellect then we are little more than the animals. People of intellectual ability and drive will always succeed, no matter what their color or background.

∙ 12y agoThere are civil wars happening constantly maybe not full scale conflicts in all of them (artillery, airplanes, battleships) but there always is one happening in Africa, or in one of the Hispanic countries most of these are guerrilla warfare however there is a coup happening in Libya which is considered a civil war. for more info look at a newspaper
