Theologically speaking: NO!

The Bible makes no distinction between so-called White or beneficial supernatural magic and Black or the demonic kind. All supernatural occult activity (I am not talking about divine miracles) are roundly condemned a major problem with Disney and other films that push the erroneous idea that there is white/good magic) as well as Black magic and this is dangerously misleading. At times some magic-oriented Disney films have taken sniping shots at Religion but that is another story! Sorry there is no (White Magic).

A Pagan Perspective:

Magic abounds in the world around us, the first thing you need is to believe. After that, a bit of information:

There really is no answer to the oft heard question; "What is the difference between Black Magic and White Magic?" or "Are you a good witch or a bad witch."

Fact is the magical energies we use are very much like other forms of power.

To help answer this question I will use electricity as a mundane corollary.

The energy itself is neither good nor bad. It is in its use that polarity can be attributed. When electricity is used to cook food, heat homes and light the darkness it is perceived as good. When it is used to torture people, damage things or kill someone, then it is perceived as bad or evil.

The energy itself is neither, it simply is.

In the same way, magical energies are simply there. It is how we draw upon and use the energies that determine how they are perceived.

Another Pagan Perspective:

Most pagans/wiccans/witches will tell you that magick has no color or connection with good or evil. It just is. It's the user's intent that will make the magick black or white.

Yes and no. There are wands that are used to focus energy, focus intentions and etc. But it is nothing like what you see on TV or in the movies.

Fidelis Wands is a master wand makers. Fidelis make wands completely by hand (no electrical appliances) from a single piece magical wood completely bespoke for you. Wands are from £5 and rarely exceed £25. You can pick from existing designs or work with Fidelis to create your own design. You can choose your ideal wand length, stain and varnish.

If you'd like to get really hands on to make sure it is really your own you can join a wand making workshop in London or Hampshire for £10, a workshop lasts a day with about 6 other people or less; guidance, materials, tea and biscuits are included. You can also arrange a wand making event with a group of your friends.

The facebook page is www.facebook.com/FidelisWands

You can also email for more information at fideliswands@hotmail.co.uk

These wands are certainly real when it comes you making magick (Pagan, Wiccan, Druid, etc)

Not precisely. Magic itself is sort of energy, and has no innate goodness or badness. Saying that magic is black or white in and of itself is no more correct than saying that fire is evil or good, because its use can vary. To continue with the fire analogy, if fire is used to heat a person's home or cook their food then it's seen as good, but if it burns down a building then it's bad.

Magic can be used for good or evil, but the power itself is neither.

Yes, there is indeed such a thing as black and white magic. Whether they work is debatable.

On the other hand, in the UK Black Magic is a box of chocolates, and White Magic is an American rock band.

Yes there is & you will not find in Wicca or other religions or philosophies but you will find it in Christianity & Judaism Because the only deities that can bestow that white , benevolent power that can heal people , remove curses , protect people from evil , balance good in both natural & the supernatural & work miracles on behalf of good people are Lord Jehovah & his son Jesus Christ.
