∙ 8y agoThe computer described in the discussion area is an okay computer to build, but to determine whether any computer is "good," you need to know what you are going to do with it. If you are going to run software that requires a lot of memory or top of the line graphics, you might need more processing power or better graphics. Even sound can be a concern. When I shop for individual computer parts, I try to get the quietest ones available so that the sound of the computer itself doesn't overwhelm the serenity of my office area. ... It just depends on what you need to do, and what you individually want.

∙ 14y agoThis is probably not the best for a gamer. This appears to be geared more toward mobility than performance. For a gamer, you would need something with better graphics hardware. In general, desktop computers are better for gamers because they can customize and upgrade as they wish.
