Yes. Uncontrolled hypertension (the medical word for high blood pressure) can lead to stroke, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, and vascular damage, to name a few of the long term-effects of this condition when not controlled.

If you have high blood pressure please contact your doctor. If you are prescribed blood pressure medicine, take it regularly. It can save your life.

Yes it can without a heart attack or stroke. My husband died from high blood pressure. He went to sleep, and never woke up. There were no tears in his heart muscle to signify any attack. Unfortunately for us, he was only 25.

no!only high blood pressure will lead to death. it is also called a silent killer .it will lead to various problems like kidney failure,heart attack etc where person will die.
