Sqeaks.[It purrs which is like a shuddering noise, and when it makes little noises.]
Guinea Pigs squeak because they are scared or happy mine squeaks when i give him food
I have a guniea pig... When he makes those noises he is happy.. Its like a happy shivering.. when he gets angry he chatters his teeth.. then again all guniea's are different and you cant really tell what he does.. I have read in many sites and books that the purring noise and shivering means one of 2 things, 1 its horny or 2 its angry, either that or he is just cold so he shivers. But if he was happy he would make a high pitch squeak squeak sound. Wow guinea pigs do not shake when they ae horny they are never hory ive researched guinea pigs shake when they feel safe or is happy rub it lower bac and it will make purring shakin noises I have a guinea pig, and whenever he makes those noises, he is happy. I have read that on so many websites, and I have been told by so many people that that's what it means. They do have a sensitive spot on your back, and when you hit it while brushing or petting too hard, they will squeal. this normally means the guinea pigs happy and realaxed
my daughter has a guinea pig that makes squeeking, whistling... kind of chirping sounds when she is happy.
Guinea pigs make various sounds depending on the situation. They purr when they are happy and content. They squeal softly when they want attention or a treat. They squeal loudly when frightened. They click their teeth when they are angry. guinea pigs do make alot of nosies and they are so cute when they make noises but they do get annoying but DON'T HURT THEM
your guinea pig may not be making any noises because it is NOT happy. when it is happy it will make plenty of noises. it may be unhappy because: you arent giving him enough fruits and vegtables you arent holding it enough(they should be held atleast 5 times a week) its cage is dirty, for more helpful tips you can go to the website guineapigsclub.com!

The 'funny jump' you mentioned is probably your guinea pigs doing what is called 'popcorning'. This involves them running and jumping around their cage. Guinea pigs do this when they are extremley happy or excited about something. (For example, getting vegetables or having their cage cleaned). A popcorning piggie is a happy piggie. Hope I helped.
Yes they can squeal in many ways - either high pitched (like a scream) meaning they are very scared or angry. Or a small squeak meaning they are very happy! I hope you guinea pig is happy! :)
It's kind of funny. When cats are angry, they wag their tails, just like how dogs do when they are happy
Well, the squeak is excitement! The pur sound is happy, and when they grind their teeth they are warning you and angry.
Guinea pigs squeak and squeal when they are excited- high pitched whistling is often done when they are happy to see their owner at the end of a work day or when they anticipate getting treats. When being played with and held, their squeaks may seem whiny, but they are usually just talking to you. When Guinea pigs are scared they usually don't make any noise OR they chatter their teeth when angry or frightened. Guinea pigs are very social and if you talk to them and sing to them they often will join in! When guinea pigs are happy and healthy they will run around making little rutting noises like low pitch low volume squeaks- often when they are exploring they will talk, squeak, and popcorn (hop up and down) when happy.
Different guinea pigs show their happiness in different ways. The most common display of happiness is 'popcorning'. This is when the guinea pig hops up in the air, usually several times, all four feet off the ground at once! (Mine always do this when they go in their runs on the grass for the first time that year). Guinea pigs also chirp and coo when they're happy - usually been being cuddled. Some also chuckle or brrrr when they find something funny or hear a new and unusual noise. If a guinea pig is relaxed and happy it might stretch out and not be so alert for dangerous noises. This means that your piggie trusts you and knows you will look after it.
It depends. Guinea pigs make all different kinds of noises depending if they are happy or scared. Wheeking: means feed me. they either know food is coming or they're hungry. Rumbling: when a male is trying to romance a female. Shrieking: sounds like a wheek, only more high pitched. it means they are afraid or in pain. Purring: means pleasure. Teeth Chattering: upset or angry. Mutter/Chut: meaning relaxed, happy, and content Whining: Just like it sounds, complaining Chirping: no one really knows why they do this or what it means.
Depends on what kind of noises. If it sounds like it's in pain (like when you pick it up and squeeze it :P) then it's not happy. But if it sounds like "Weeet Weeet!" or "Squeeak Squeeak!" then s/he likes you. <3
it talks and makes a lot of happy noises
Guinea Pigs noises mean many things. My Guinea Pig, has made probably 10 different noises. If you stroke them backwards (towards their head) then they make a low purr like a cat. That is just kind of a way to show there are angry and want you to stop. If you hold them to long, or in an unsafe way, they start to make a squeal that either signals pain or "danger". If a Guinea Pig kind of jumps into the air like it's having a little spaz attack, it is called Popcorning. They think of it as a leap of joy, so it is OK if the to "popcorn". If the Guinea Pig is sitting in it's cage, and it makes sort of the same squeal as if it was in pain, it means they are trying to get your attention. But this squeal is more calm and "peaceful". There is one more I know. If it is a sudden "humming" noise, it means they are happy or they like whatever you are doing. THIS INFORMATION IS %100 PERCENT TRUE!!!!! I read it from an Animal Planet magazine on Guinea Pigs.
Guinea pigs make multiple sounds, they can make noise for being happy, scared, angry, hungry, etc. There are a couple of sites online that let you listen to the different tones.
Angry is a person who is not happy. A person might get angry if he/she is provoked.
happy snappy funny angry sleepy twitchy itchy grumpy fatty skinny
If it's smiling it is happy. If it's frowning it's angry.
Most guinea pigs are very funny to watch they are also hyper, cute and very sociable. When guinea pigs are very happy they do a thing called "pop Corning " which is them un- controlably bouncing and turning and having sort of mini spazums which is very nice to watch cause you know it's happy.
when a guinea pig is happy, it will ''popcorn'', or jump excitedly and make happy squeaking sounds.
Because the Guinea Pig is happy.
