Yes. Your present marriage would be invalid if it took place before the divorce was finalized. You should arrange for the marriage to be performed once again. Until you do you cannot enjoy all the legal benefits that are bestowed upon people who are legally married, especially inheritance.

If you were married and then got married again and the first marriage got resolved years later would you have to get divorced from the 2nd marriage?

If there was not a legal dissolution of marriage petition filed and a final divorce decree granted, the first marriage would still be valid and the second marriage would be inconsequential in the legal sense, meaning, divorce proceedings would not be required for the second marriage.

What happens to community property if you find out your spouse is married to someone else?

It depends on whether yours was the first or second marriage. The first marriage is the valid one. If the person then married again without obtaining a divorce, the second marriage is invalid. The property acquired by the parties during the first marriage would be community property. In Mexico if a marriage is void because of a preexisting foreign marriage will the second marriage become valid when the impediment is removed?

No. If the marriage was invalid to begin with (because of an existing marriage at the time of the 2nd marriage). The 2nd marriage is void and legally it is as if the second marriage never happened at all. Getting a divorce for the first marriage does not validate the second marriage. Your only option is to re-do the second marriage.

Can a divorced Catholic man marry to a Catholic convert woman in the Catholic church?

The answer depends upon whether the Catholic man's first marriage was canonically valid, and, if so, whether he has been granted an annulment. The marriage of a Catholic in a civil ceremony, for example, is not canonically valid in the eyes of the Church. In most cases, such a marriage would not require an annulment for a second marriage in the Church to take place. If, however, the first marriage was valid in the eyes of the Church, as for example, a Catholic wedding, then it will be necessary for the man's first marriage to be annuled before he can validly contract a second Catholic marriage.

You were married twice in a Catholic church with no annulment is it a valid marriage?

If your first spouse is still living and there was no anullment, then it is very surprising that a Catholic priest agreed to officiate at your second wedding. Only an expert can say for certain, but it is unlikely that your second marriage is valid in the eyes of the Church.
