There were a few different models of Stevens single-shot from that era, and the differences are really minor. They are generally lumped together as 'pre-Model 94'. sales@countrygunsmith.net
About 600 to 700 dollors
i don't know this answer but i have a this exact shotgun that was patented on this exact date that was given to me from my grandpa
That patent date was used by J. Stevens Arms and Tool Co, but I can't find 376 listed as a Stevens or Savage model number. Could have been made for a hardware store or mail order business and marked with the model number requested by the retailer.
Depending on condition of metal and wood, Stevens double .410s of any age tend to bring in the $300 to $600 range.
If you have a single shot shotgun, then it is worth 50 dollars,if you have a double barrel shotgun then the value could be up to 400.00 dollars, depending on the overall condition and the bores are in good shape.
This is likely a Stevens 315 I also have a hammerless double barrel shotgun but it has J Stevens Arms Company Chicopee Falls Mass patented April 20 1915.The way I was told to tell what model it was,by the length of the upper tang. The model 315 has a 2 5/8" Tang and a model 515 has a Tang of 2 7/8".My gun is the model 315 and from the J Stevens name I have been told that it was made between 1915 and 1936.As far as the value goes I have seen them go for between $250.-$400. I got mine at a garage sale for $100. 5 years ago.
that is pretty vague but it should say Stevens favorite on the top of the receiver and have j stenens tool company on the left side of the barrel.
STEVENS / SAVAGE HAVE A COLLECTORS SITE GOOGLE IT
Several lengths were available on Stevens double barrel shotguns. 30 inches would be the most common, but 28 or 32 would not be uncommon and 26, 34 or even 36 would not be impossible.
