The income requirements are not listed on the Department of Labor website. They refer you to a telephone number which is going to ask where you live, and then refer you to the nearest Job Corp office to you. This leads me to believe that the income requirements are different by state. I have listed the phone number from the web site below.

If you or someone you know is interested in joining Job Corps or would like more information please call (800) 733-JOBS or (800) 733-5627. An operator will provide you with general information about the program, refer you to the admissions counselor closest to where you live and mail you an information packet.

As they say it’s who you know that helps you land the job, but it’s also where you look that helps a great deal. Some people prefer looking for jobs on LinkedIn, Monster, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, and Empire Workforce Solutions.

Whether you’re seeking professional careers, skilled trade careers, or even transportation careers, Empire Workforce solution is the right partner of choice to help you reach your career goals and land your dream job.

Yes you can. As a matter of fact, military recruiters who have a Job Corps center near them consider themselves lucky. They visit Job Corps all the time. Many young people who would otherwise not be qualified for the military become qualified upon graduation from Job Corps. If you are a Job Corps student and you are interested in the military, stick out the program. You can even enlist on a delayed entry program during your education at Job Corps. But remember... tell your recruiter not to give you a ship date that is before your graduation from Job Corps!!!
