KFC did BBQ spare ribs back in the 80's for only a few years , and I can still remember the taste to this day , fabulously delicious, I believe the had them in Scotland a few years ago again

In general, KFC's chicken is not Halal. However, depending on your location in the world, some KFC's have been known to cater for the local Islamic population by ensuring the chicken sold in that individual KFC is Halal.Normally though, the KFC would advertise if their chicken was Halal.

The KFC stores owned by the Florida Corp. were not sold but rather became franchisees of "Big Chicken". Only the franchise rights to the state of Florida were sold along with the "secret recipe" known by the owners of the Florida Corp two of whom were Grandsons of Col. Sanders. I was there.
