>>10 hours / small planet= quicker rotation
This is flase. The size of the planet does not have much to do with its rotation rate, particularely in a planet made of silicate. Stars in general change their rotation rate with time and people believe it may be related with generation of magnetic field for example.
The planet Mercury rotates very slowly. While Earth has a solar day OS 24h Mercury's solar day is about 176 Earth days. It takes Mercury around six months to give a full turn over its own axis.
58.646 earth days. The reason behind this is that Mercury's smaller mass causes it to revolve slower, making its days longer.
Solar day: 176 Earth days.
Sidereal day: 88 Earth days.
Mercury keeps one side turned toward the Sun all the time. It does not rotate like Earth, therefore it does not have a day/night cycle.
One day for Mercury is equal to 4222.6 Mercurian hours (or 1407.6 Earth hours).
58 earth days.
58.6 earth days
A day on Mercury is 58.646 Earth days long
It's Mercury or Venus depending on whichthe definition of "day "you mean.
Mercury's "sidereal day" is about 59 Earth days long and its year is about 88 Earth days long. Venus has a "solar day" of about 117 Earth days and a year of about 225 Earth days.
You are probably thinking of Mercury which revolves around the Sun in 59 days. The word 'rotate' means turning on its axis. We call that a day. The Earth rotates in one day or 24 hours. Mercury rotates (its day) in 176 Earth days. Mercury is really interesting because its day is almost 3 Mercury Years long.
The planet is Mercury. (Some people think it is Venus, but it is Mercury.)
one day on mercury is approximetly 10 secends. one year on mercury is 80 days.
88 Earth Days
Mercury has very very long days. Each day on Mercury last as long as 58 hours, 15 hours on earth.
A day on Mercury is 58.646 Earth days long

how long does it take for Mercury to rotate on its own axis IN ONE DAY
one day on Mercury is approximetly 10 secends. one year on mercury is 80 days.
58.6 Earth days
On Mercury, one day there is equal to 58.65 days here.
Exactly one Mercury day.
65 days
one whole day of the earth day
