The left upper quadrant is the location of the left portion of the liver, the larger portion of the stomach, the pancreas, left kidney, spleen, portions of the transverse and descending colon, and parts of the small intestine.
Spleen is located in the left upper quadrant. ( This quadrant is more of a triangle!) Spleen is located of deep inside. Rather on the backside of the abdomen in that region. It has to become double in size before it can just be palpated per abdomen.
