You might, but that would be wrong! Mercury has a strong magnetic field.
as far as we as humanity know, nothing botanical or biological for that matter but we could be wrong.
Please do not answer if you are quessing. I see many wrong answers on this site. Galileo does not have mercury in it. It is water and a light weight petroleum mixure. Also, glass thermometers no longer have mercury.
Try to find someone with a 1 Meter mercury column barometer.They are not wrong if the thread is unbroken. The best type are called Fortin Barometers.
You may need to replace your dimmer switch.
It would depend on what is wrong with the headlights.
85cI don't know anyone who has a 90's Capri that has a temp gauge that is accurate. I have had my radiator water tested and the actual gauge is wrong. It always runs in the red in the summer. Also, the oil gauges are not correct, either. Try replacing the Themo.....I have no issues with mine
its controlled by the computer. sometimes if you have a vacume leak or something eles is wrong they wont idel right. so you may want to check for a vacume leak somewere first
Your day time running module is defective. It is located behind the right headlight near the fender (passenger side). You can unplug the module and your headlights will work as normal, however without the headlights coming on during the day. You can replace it if you like or not.

If your overhead compass on your 1998 Mercury Mountaineer does not work, the fuse could be what is wrong with it. Check the fuse and replace it as needed.
