a science team in Britain has succefully fused human with cow DNA, but only in unborn fetus's, causing some religious squabble.(not that religious squabbles matter in science name) It is uknknown if it is possible to put animal DNA in humans already grown with a concious. It would create problems like disease and blood clotting so it is to dangerous to experiment with humans at the time.

According to the UK Times, animal and human DNA has been mixed for the first time in Britain. They did it by adding human DNA to empty cow eggs. But, the mixture is 99.9 human DNA, and only .1% cow DNA. It is already illegal to culture human-animal embryos for more than 14 days, or to implant them in the womb of a woman or animal, so we don't know what lies in our future, or what we can 'make.'

An American scientist says: "In Minnesota, pigs are being born with human blood in their veins. In Nevada, there are sheep whose livers and hearts are largely human. In California, mice peer from their cages with human brain cells firing inside their skulls." This is not fiction, it is a fact. People are starting to mix human and animal DNA, and the experiments are getting more intense and severe.

In Reno, Nevada, a man named Jason Chamberlain takes care of a flock of 50 sheep, but many them have human livers, hearts, brains, and other organs. In California, scientist have created pigs with human blood, fused rabbit eggs with human DNA, and injected human cells to make paralyzed mice walk. In January, scientists at Stanford University created a group of mice with brains made completely out of human brain cells. The mice are 1% human. Years ago, Professor Stuart Newman and Activist Jeremy Rifkin proposed to create for what they called a "humanzee," a creature that was half human and half chimp. They never created it.

Some people ask can you mix human and animal dna. My answer is yes you could. As long a you took thprocedure slowly and combined the dna one step and small amount at a time it is possible to mix the dna. My question is would the human gain attributes from the animals dna such as enhanced hearing, sight, sense of smell, a tail, and ears or something like that. If scientists can find a way to successfully combine human and animal dna without casualty I would volunteer for it.

Biological medicines are designed to mimic certain 'naturally' occurring proteins that, when used therapeutically, interrupt signaling of the immune system and, at times, induce the death of the target cells. They represent complex proteins that are produced using recombinant DNA techniques and various levels of purification. Infliximab is a chimeric (derived from human and mouse gene sequences) monoclonal IgG antibodies that binds TNF-A a potent inflammatory mediator; the variable portion of the antibody is coded by sequences common to both human and murine DNA. Infliximab is supplied as 100 mg of preservative-free powder that is reconstituted prior to intravenous infusion. Dosing is weight based, typically 5 mg/kg given intravenously initially, followed by dosing at 2 and 6 weeks, and every 8 weeks thereafter. As A Crohn's disease patient, I have seen the direct benefit of this experimentation.

Yes and no. The only distinction between humans and animals is in the eye of the beholder. However, viable DNA through either natural or artificial methods of reproduction can only be created, by modern knowledge, between members of the same Genus (it's speculated that this could be extended to members of the same Family, but evidence for this is limited at best). Using this information, it can be inferred that human DNA can combine with that of Neanderthals,HeidelbergMen, and a number of other extinct species. It has been debated as to whether or not human and chimpanzee DNA is compatible, but this has not been tested reliably due to crippling ethical issues. Chimpanzees are our closest living ancestor, but are still classified in a different Genus, and do have a different number of chromosomes. This means that it is dubious that human DNA can viably combine with the DNA of any other extant animals.

Can Human DNA be positively identified as human without other information?

Yes. Human DNA is human DNA.

Animal DNA and human DNA differs in sense of animal testing and their effects?

Well not really. Our genetic makeup is what makes us different from other animals. We're still composed of same types of cells as those of any other animals.

Can human DNA be detected in animal excrement if the animal ate the human?

yep well i think if they loook at their stomach acid if they didnt "dispose" the human.

Do tigers have bits of human DNA?

DNA contains instructions inside the cell that establish whether an animal will be a tiger or a human. All living things with cells have DNA which are specific to their species.

What do human cells have that animal cells dont?

Aside from different DNA, there isn't really much of a difference between animal cells and human cells. Human cells are an example of an animal cell.

Do you extract human DNA the same as animal DNA?

Yes. The DNA is found in the nucleus of every cell. It's simply a case of extracting the DNA from the cell.

Combinding animal DNA with human DNA will it hurt?

No one knows if it hurts or not. No one has ever been able to make an animal or human change into another animal. If you read the books "Animorphs" they say it doesn't hurt, but no one really knows.

Does ever one have DNA?

Yes, everyone and every animal, and some plants have DNA..... If humans didn't have DNA, people wouldn't have proof you are human!

What animal is total opposite to a human?

No animal is totally opposite to a human. Every living thing on earth shares some elements and DNA to a greater or lesser extent. --a dead human.
