# Molarity of 2.38g H2C2O4 2H2O in 200mL of solution?

Molar mass H2C2O4.2H2O =126.0658 g/mol

2.38g = 2.38/126.0658 = 0.0189mol dissolved in 200ml solution.

Molarity = 1000/200*0.0189 = 0.094M

Cups of WHAT? Grams measure weight, cups measure volume. One does not convert to the other.

That depends on the substance....water at room temperature weighs about 8.33 lbs per gallon....a cup is 1/16 of that, so water is .52 lbs per cup ....with 454g per lb, 1c water would be 238g

According to freeAmericanRecipes.com and CookItSimply, 2 cups of raw cucumber, diced or chopped, equals 300 grams or 10.6 ounces.

You're switching from weight (pounds) to volume (cups). Different things have different weights. A cup of flour (sifted) for example is 120g while a cup of water is 238g, almost twice as much. So it entirely depends on 14 pounds of what. Let's switch it up to 15 pounds for simpler examples. So a 15 lb dumbell at the gym would probably take up three or four cups if you melted it down but 15 pounds of flour (picture three 5lb bags) is obviously a whole lot more than four cups.

Try to think of an Avagadro number (1 mole) as being a unit similar to --- say a dozen. 1 dozen eggs has 12 "particles" 1 dozen baseballs has 12 "particles" 1 dozen footballs has 12 "particles" So all three of above have 1 dozen "units". It is the same with an Avagadro number - all with 6.022 x 1023 units. However just as all three examples above have different masses yet all are one dozen. It is the same with an Avagadro number (or 1 mole. ) So 1 mole of hydrogen molecules has a mass of 2g but 1 mole of Uranium atoms has a mass of 238g (because they are much bigger in the same way as a football is bigger than an egg).
