I would guess the lock switch is defective. Unplug the wire going to the switch and if the problem goes away the switch is bad. It can also be a defective remote control door lock control if you have one.
no
Your Kia driver's side door might not unlock because of a damaged linkage between the inside door handle and the latch itself. You might also have a problem with the fuse that controls the electronic locks.
pull the forward handle on lower door sill on the drivers side.
if rear side door; unlock and pull handle. if boot lid; pull handle in drivers side door-well (side of the drivers seat) "door open"
Linkage has come off inside the door of something has gone in the lock assembly.
If a TravelPro Luggage handle will not close it is possible that the handle is in the locked position. Either use the combination lock to unlock the handle or insert the key to unlock the handle.
Not possible with factory equipment, by design.
If you unlock your door using the remote , the courtesy lights come on inside , that's the way it is on my 1995 Ford Explorer ( also , when it is locked and I lift the drivers or front passenger door handle the courtesy lights will come on and then shut off after 20 seconds or so ) - if that is what you are referring to
To unlock the rear door ???just push the unlock button on the drivers side door on the in side and it will unlock all doors and the rear door also. then Just pill on the outside rear door handle and it will open., push the button 2 times to unlock all doors.
Use the door handle.
If the key dosent work then remove the inside door handle and window adjuster to remove the paneling. Then check to see if the lock rods are connected.
If only one door does not lock/unlock you probably just need to change the actuator. It is located inside the door behind the panel. Sometimes it is mounted to the latch assembly.
