Have you been calling your boyfriend a lot recently? If so, then no you probably shouldn't call back because maybe he wants some space.
If he didn't answer then you could try calling back but don't get worked up and continue calling him. He would probably call you back if he gets your message. Maybe he just wasn't in the mood to talk or something. If he knows that you called him and he's feeling better then he should call you back or something.
