First....can you feel the vibration in the steering wheel? Does the vibration continue to get worse as you increase speed? There can be many different answers. I would check all wheels for loose lug nuts or loose wheel. Next, check your tires for roundness. If a steel belt shifts in a tire, it will wobble. This usually happens if you hit a pothole or curb. See if someone can follow you and look to see if a wheel is wobbling. If you can feel the vibration in the steering wheel or the steering wheel actually wobbles in your hands, you will need to check all steering components for looseness and replace as neccessary. There is no hard or fast answer for this question. If the lugs are all tight on the wheels, check to make sure your tires are properly balanced...although I've never seen this cause a problem at only 10 MPH. If the vibration appears at higher speeds (40+) and the lugs are tight, the wheels are balanced, it may simply be time to get a front wheel alignment.
my e-mail is eaglebear77@yahoo.com. where is the viberation coming from? front ,back? it could be a bad tire, bolts not tight on tire,or ball joints going out. is it front wheel drive or rear?
Is it accompanied by a shuddering or vibration? You could likely have bad brake rotors.
The vibration was so severe in the front end, I had trouble steering the car. I could only feel the vibration when the car accelerated. Earthquakes cause a distinct vibration of the earth.
Yes. Totally! If the engine mounts are bad the whole car will vibrate and run bad. Get it fixed.
Bad bearing in compressor?
Vibration of the car/steering which gets bad at a specific speed.
If you are referring to vibration when you hit your brakes in a car, it could be that your rotors are warped or your wheels could also be out of balance, or both.
Bad PCV Valve.- Your car would vibrate a lot and keep stalling. if you try to floor the pedal in gear, the car will move but, vibration is bad and you'll stall again.
It can if it is really bad. Try not to drive it and have someone who is mechanically inclined check it out, it could be a number of things.
drive shaft could be out of balance or tires could be out of round
it cant do that because no one can stop a vibration only the earth could
You can feel the engine running inside the car not necessarily vibration but it can cause vibration but for sure you can feel the engine running at your foot.
