Oh yes, that is possible. Thermal energy can cause a change of phase, during which the temperature does not increase. So when water boils, it remains at 100o Celsius until it is all boiled away.
The boiled peas lost their energy, whilst being boiled. Energy gives out heat, yet the peas did not have any more energy, leaving them to remain as the same temperature as they were. Hope this helps :)

Boiled rice has some healthy benefits. It contains vitamins and minerals, and does give you some energy. If you use brown rice it also has fiber.

You would eat the chicken because it uses up energy and does n't transmit much energy into the chiken egg- so it is the most economical way :)
