My shower faucet doesn't turn the full 180 degrees only 90 so the water doesn't get hot enough It's not the water heater because every other faucet in the house works fine Any suggestions?
It would help to know what brand and if it is a pressure /temperature balance type also AKA scald protection

Why would the floor of a new body shower smell like rotten eggs every time water hits it if the water doesn't smell when it leaves the faucet and the trap is fine?
your either have a well system or your located near the coast somewhere there is a high sulfur content Answer is it only after hot water that you notice the smell? is there… still the anode rod in the water heater?
Answer . \nIF YOUR ON A CITY WATER SYSTEM AT NIGHT THE PRESSURE GETS REALLY HIGH. PRV'S SOMETIMES GO BAD AN LET WATER BY. MOST OF THE TIME A WATER HEATER POP OFF GOES OFF…. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A CHEAP FACUET AND NEEDS REPLACING OR A PACKING NUT TIGHTEND.
Why would you have hot water at all faucets and hardly any hot water in the shower if it's an old house with no water heater?
Answer . First off, you do have something heating your hot water! I would start by checking the restrictor/strainer in the showerhead. unscrew the showerhead from the show…er arm and check for debris clogging it. After that I would follow the path back to the water source to see what is causing the problem. You may be wanting a plumber.
Sounds like the anode is giving up the ghost or a faulty dip tube
Why do you get hot water out of your bathtub faucet but only warm water when you change it to the shower head?
conduction and heatloss. study laws of thermodynamics.
How do you fix one slow running faucet which worked perfectly before but not after a new water heater was installed and all other faucets work fine?
Check the screen in the end of the neck. Very often rust and sediment are dislodged when the water system is shut off. If not that then possible in the valves themselves. Depe…nding on the age of the pipes you might have to clear them several times. You can take the valves out and VERY slowly open the shut off valves just enough to let water come out of the top of the faucet. This should flush out anything that may be loose in the line.
Blcoked piping or defecive valve
Diverter not functioning and depending on which type you have would determine the type of repair or replacement
This is a sign that the Diverter is not functioning.
Your shower faucet drips only when water is turned on in other parts of the house for instance dishwasher This began when you changed the shower head Why is this happening?
\nHave you got two single faucets or a single lever faucet? It could be a pressure imbalance or it could just need maintenance
Your shower pours hot water out of the faucet even when off and turned to cold with the knob Any ideas on what this could be?
You don't say whether you are referring to a single handed mixer or an individual faucet. If a mixer then the o rings inside have probably worn away and need to be replaced. I…f a single faucet then either the washer needs replacing inside the tap or the gland nut (if have one) needs to be serviced. Dont forget that in a single knob faucet, there is also an adjustment to be made for the hot water temp. that comes from the shower when turned to hot....it is a sort of dial in system remove the knob handle with a Philips screw driver and see where the settings are if too high adjust down a few clicks(notches).
Unscrew the aerator from the end of the faucet where the water comes out and clean the screen. Sediment build up slows the flow.

Possibly the washer is broken. Turn off supply underneath, remove the handle and then the screw stem. Take these parts to Home depot and get a new washer or repair kit.
The single most likely reason would be buildup of rust or calcium particles in the valves and inlet. Many showers have a one-handle arrangement wherein the handle controls mov…ement of a ball. That ball has two very small inlet holes, roughly 3mm (1/8 inch) diameter each. If your shower has this type of arrangement (and not a newer maintenance free cartridge) you can turn off the house water supply, take apart the handle and ball device, remove and replace the springs and seats for the inlets, and clean the ball with an old toothbrush and CLR. If your water heater is very old, or if you have old iron pipes for your water supply, you are likely to experience this kind of problem more frequently.
New home and the shower faucet only turns 90 degrees instead 0f 180 and you get no hot water What do you need to do?
Not sure if it's related but I had a similar issue. Turns out there is a limiter for hot water inside my faucet. The instructions say that by default it does not limit the flo…w of hot water, but I finally removed the front cap and saw the limiter was so low that it blocked at 90 degrees and would not allow any hot water through. Switched the position of the limiter and everything is fine.
If shut off the hot water valve then you take off your supply line from your hot water valve to your faucet and then turn your hot water valve on slowly (with of course a buck…et or something to collect the water under it) and if you can see you have water pressure and flow then most likely the problem would be in your faucet on the hot side. If you have no pressure or flow when you turn the hot valve on then it could be debris plugging your hot water pipe or your hot water service valve (angle stop, straight stop) which older galvanized pipes are known to do so. To fix the problem you would need to find out where the problem is then either fix or replace the faucet or replace the angle/straight stop or try back flushing the hot water pipe and or replace the pipe with pex or copper pipe.
