My son and his girlfriend are only 18 years old and she wants to get married and i truly believe she just wants to be princess for a day not considering what it really all means to be married?

The more you battle them on this the more stubborn they will become. I'll tell you how to win at this game. Get with her parents and plan a wedding that will take a year or more to do. Every time she finds a wedding dress it isn't "good enough" and they have to look for a better one. Every plan they make it has to be better and than what they decided. You just have to keep looking for the better one. My guess is that within six months they will have "cooled their jets" on a wedding and by 9 months will no long be together. Relationships at 18 come and go pretty fast, but you will need to make sure that if they are having sex that they are using protection to stop that as a means for marriage. If after a year they are still together, then you can really plan a wedding.
