Affirmations are one way to success - but a slow way. If you have any doubts, unresourceful beliefs, emotions or behaviors which contradict your affirmation it could counteract your affirmation. With my clients and students I always help them to clear anything that may be holding them back from being the genius (or whatever they want) so they can fully embrace and live their truth. NLP coaches and therapists have many tools to help create a new belief in a short time period.
