Thrust SSC was the first car to break the sound barrier.
Thrust SSC is a British designed jet propelled car developed by Richard Noble, Glynne Bowsher, Ron Ayers and Jeremy Bliss.
Thrust SSC broke the land speed record on 15th October 1997 piloted by RAF Squadron Leader Andy Green and traveled at 1228km/h, a record which still stands today.
there are over 1000 aircraft that have broke the sound barrier but i will tell you a few that have

Yes. A converted F-4 jet without its' wings went faster than the speed of sound on the ground.

light is the fastest thing known to man. The Order of Speed from Fastest to Slowest is. 1) Light 2) Sound 3) Airplane 4) Car
The Basic difference between the sound waves and light is in their wave nature. Light waves are propagated as transverse waves. Sound waves are propagated as longitudinal waves. Let's do our own version of Einstein's famous thought experiments. You are on a train that has a very looong connected flatbed. I'm observing you from the ground. The train is moving at 60 mph to my right; you are in a car and driving from the front of the train toward the back, and you read 40 mph on your speedometer. As the amazing sight passes by, I measure your speed to be 20 mph, moving to my right-- from my frame of reference, your back-end is advancing. This is an entertaining if impractical way of seeing how two velocities differ. Sixty minus forty equals twenty. Now we are together on the ground. A train is going to pass us at the speed of sound (ok, we could make it an SST and pretend we're on a REALITY show). As it passes, our job is to measure the velocity of light coming toward us from a powerful source on its back. We are, in theory, slowing light down by the speed of sound. When we measure the velocity of the light, however, we will find that it is still exactly the speed of light, undiminished. If we forgot our protective gear, however, our ears will not be unchanged.
The speed of light is faster than the highest speed of a car.
I put my car in neutral because it broke down.
The Trust SSC.

your car being broke get it checked out
Yes, the Blue Bird car broke the world land speed record in 1964 by surpassing the speed of sound, reaching a speed of 763 miles per hour. The achievement was made by driver Donald Campbell at Lake Eyre in Australia.
Probably a worn or loose belt
The fastest car is the Thrust SSC (Supersonic Car) which broke the sound barrier at 763 mph.

The UK made the thrust SSC which goes faster than the speed of sound and thus the bugatti veyron.
your transmition is either about to break or broke.
y do u car
I don't believe anyone has broken the sound barrier on land yet.
Because the speed of sound travels at +- 1300 km/h and the car that is approaching isn't that fast. So u first hear the sound before the car reaches u.
