Akbar built an entire city : Fatehpur Sikri, a few forts, the most famous of which is Allahbad fort, the Panch Mahal, etc [Humayuns tomb was built by his wife, some Hamida Begum who at the tender age of 15, was married to Humayun, so was widowed in her mid 20s.]

The most obvious building build from metamorphic rocks is the Taj Mahal in India
