You may be referring to the incarnation of the band that was called "Rio Grande" in the 1970s. Not much has been written about them, but we do know the lead singer of Jump 'n' the Saddle was Peter Quinn, and he was also in Rio Grande. The members who recorded the group's one hit, "The Curley Shuffle," were Peter Quinn, T.C. Furlong, Barney Schwartz, Tom Trinka, Rick Gorley and Vince Dee.
