where is the crankshaft sensor located on a 1993 dodge intrepid
what do i do
1999 dodge intrepid is not starting I change crank and camshaft sensor and it stall will not start what can i do next.
Behind the crank case cover.
On the passenger side bell housing on the near the transmission.
With a special puller.
crank sencer, coil pack, or ecm
scanning for codes will indicate if the CPS is at fault.
Timing belt crank sprocket
try crank position sensor and cam shaft sensor
Disconnect the electrical connector, remove the mounting screw and remove the sensor.
It is mounted to the passenger side of the transmission bell housing, just behind the engine.
It is located on top of the transmission next to where is mounts up with the motor
Take It Off Amd Inspect It.

123456 That should have been marked on the intake manifold, towards the rear of the engine. The firing order is correct! However, it has a timing belt, not a chain. The water pump is driven by the timing belt, so replace that while your in there. And Make sure the crank and cams on on TDC before you put the belt on!
the crank sensor is on the passenger side of the car on the back of the engine. Check right up there by the transmission housing.
Try the crank sensor first, then the cam sensor. without these the car will not spark. Most commonly the crank sensor though.
It is zeroed to the crank with a scan tool. It can not be done with a timing light. It is done by turning the distributor.

on the right front of the transmission bell housing about 3 o'clock. If you are looking at the engine it will be on the left. There is 1 10mm bolt holding it down.
try replacing crank sensor
You'll need a puller you should be ablt to get a lon from on of you autoparts suppliers without this you will not be able to remove it Jim.
It is controlled by the computer. The distributor needs to be synced to the crank sensor.
