Push down on the tab that covers the rear of the turn signal compartment. Pulling up will break the tab that holds it in place. I needed to take a screw driver gently removing the cover as I help down the tab.

The directional part. Directional relays will operate for events "in front of" them, but will not operate for events "behind" them. Typically directional relays are used in non radial situations such as on the bulk electric system. Non-directional overcurrents are commonly used on radial lines.

The information is located in the owners manual. However, in short: Drivers side rear to passenger side front, Passenger side front to passenger side rear, Drivers side front to drivers side rear, Passenger side rear to drivers side front. This is the rotation order for the older bias ply tires. Radial tires MUST maintain the same directional rotation as when they were first installed, otherwise the steel belts can slip or break, causing a blowout. Radial tires must be rotated front to rear on the same side of the car!
Non-Directional Tires: Front same side to Rear; Rear criss-cross to Front. Directional Tires: Front to Rear & Rear to Front same side. Do Not Criss-Cross. Ref: Subaru Service Bulletin # 05-37-07.....
