My dashboard needles and half the lights of my dashboard quit working MONTHS ago and I'm too nervous to go see how much it will cost me. I have the same car, 2001 L-300 and I have had SO MANY problems with it, that this is one I'm learning to live with until I find the time to get it looked at. If you do find out what it could be, I'm curious to know as well!
DRL (daytime running lights) - its likely the relay, & dashboard issue's commonly caused by lost ground distribution. This is not absolute.
Check the daytime running lights module. This has failed with other manufactures resulting in lights that stay on, or are very dim while the vehicle is running.
The lights are computer controlled. The under hood computer can set codes and keep the lights from working.
If fuse is ok, could be a bad headlight switch
the fuse that controls the interior lights, running board,an rear wiper is blown. it is a 15amp fuse in the panel. Also, try the cluster dimmer position since it controls the running board lights and exterior mirror lights as well. This dimmer is located next to the headlight switch.Good luck!
There are a few reasons why your daytime running lights are flashing. Your wiring could be messed up or your lights might be burning out.
It could very well be a wire. check the wires rinning to the assembly.
If parking and tailights are working could be headlight switch--rheostat for dimming control could be bad
there should be a fuse under the hood or under your fuse block that probably blew
If you brake lights are not working on your trailblazer it could be due to a number of reasons. Your fuse could be blown, or your light may no longer work.
All of these parts run on electricity, and for all of them to fail would be bad. Bad or burnt wiring could cause them not to work, or a alternator going bad could cause them not to work as well.
My dashpanel lights stopped working in your Chevy Monte Carlo ss 2001 what could the problem be
If the seat warmer on a 2004 Saturn Vue is not working it could be a problem with the heater element. This element can be found under the seat and will be easier to access from the rear of the seat.
