On a 2002 Mazda Protege why would the fan only work when the fan knob is set to 4?
I had the exact problem with mine 02 Proege and the issue was there is a resistor that controls the fan speed and when the resistor blows it only gives full current(better than no current) to the fan. I took mine to the dealer and they charged $60 to fix it, parts and labour. cheers the problem IS the resistor, i have no doubt. usually resistor are located under the dashboard on the passenger side. $60 dollars is expensice, the part im sure costs no more than 10 dolars, try to change it yourself, its basically a plug that you plug in.
Yes, you can. If you look next to the head rest in the back seats theres a plastic knob that you pull UP. On each side, the plastic pull up knob button is on the side closest to the window. This disengages the latch that holds the seat in place. The seats simply fold down to lay on top of the sitting surface of the back seat.
Why would the heater control panel not light up when the headlights are turned on in a 2002 Seat Leon?
The factory shift know is simply pressed into place. To remove the knob, pull on it. If it's still on quite tight, you maybe need to firmly twist while pulling the shift knob. If all else fails, use a piece of leather to protect your know, and some channel lock pliers to work the knob back and forth until it is loose enough and can be removed.
Removing the shift knob is actually very simple if you have the Volvo "Spaceball" setup: Just push down on the knob and rotate it counter clockwise about 90degrees then pull up to remove the knob from the shaft. Depending on what type of shift knob you are replacing it with, installation of the new one may differ. See: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?136135
It is the fan control knob on the dash. I believe they are only sold in that set of three or four that contrl the temp and position. I had a 2001 that did the same thing> It is the fan control knob on the dash. I believe they are only sold in that set of three or four that contrl the temp and position. What would cause the windshield defroster in a 2002 KIA Spectra to only blow air from the panel and floor vents instead of the defrost vents?
Underneath the driver side dashboard, near the center console, is a plastic control knob with a metal wire/bar connector that is attached to the main directional control knob (defrost, vent, floor vent select knob) on the center console. The metal wire/bar will sometimes pop off the plastic control knob, so when you turn the main control you're not actually re-directing the forced air to the selected vents. Re-attached the metal wire/bar to the plastic control…
The shift knob should be held on by set screws if its a manual or threaded on if its an auto, in the case of an auto you would have to disconnect the shift button to change the handle. my 2002 concord has an adjustment above your left toe, while sitting in the drivers seat. There is a small knob that you can turn to adjust the sensitivity. 2000 car may be different. my 2002 concord has an adjustment above your left toe, while sitting in the drivers seat. The fine adjustment knob is used with the power objective on the microscope. Since the objective is already at the highest objective possible for that microscope, using the coarse adjustment knob would focus to much on the object making the details harder to read. Using the fine adjustment knob, you are able to see the fine details within the object or organism you are studying. The higher the power, the finer the knob and the…
