I am not sure how it could possibly be changed if the motor mount is not disconnected. I would be interested in seeing how it would be done. Chilton designates this job to take 5/10ths of an hour. Its a true 96 Buick Park Ave. 3/96.K. If it was a 97 Then you would have to remove the motor mount. I cant see removing and replacing a belt having to remove the motor mount and all that entails taking that short of a time.

Remove the plastic cover under the hood by the wipers. Underneath is the wiper motor and linkages. On a scale of 1 to 10 for a mechanic it is about a #2 job (10 being the hardest).

Remove the wiper arm from the wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness from the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new wiper motor.

More than likely it is the bushing in your motor mount. Just have a mechanic change out your top motor mount...

Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 2001 Chevrolet Corvette blower motor. Remove the blower motor retaining bolts. Remove the blower motor fan. Reverse the process to install the new blower motor.
Remove the rear wiper arm from the wiper motor. Remove the wiring harness from the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new wiper motor.
