Cinder Cones can very greatly in size. However, in comparison with the other volcano types they are the smallest. they can grow from only 500m height.

They can form either by themselves, or in association with strato volcanoes. The tallest type of volcanoes are shield volcanoes. The tallest mountain in the world from base to top is a shield volcano.

Well some cider cone volcanoes are at least 1000 feet high but since that's the tallest I know...Well that's about it.
