Re: IAT sensor wire colors and location? ---- I have edited my previous post to correct an error. This post contains info in that post plus additional info.
Red is 12 volts from 10 amp EFI fuse. It carries power to all oxygen sensors also.
BLK with white stripe is ground to MAF sensor.
Yel with green stripe is MAF sensor output to THA input of Engine Control Module.(intake air temp circuit)
Black with yellow stripe is MAF sensor output to E2G input of ECM. I do not know what this wire does or if it could be a ground. It does not come from ground but rather from the MAF sensor. I cannot find a description of it's purpose.
Red with white stripe is MAF sensor output to input VG of ECM (intake air volume circuit)
Let us know how your project works out. Good luck

The O2 oxygen sensor on a 2000 Tundra is secured to the exhaust pipe. To change or remove it, you must lift the car on a hydraulic jack, and unscrew the nuts that hold it in place.
Left side (drivers side) exhaust manifold. Between the exhaust manifold and catalytic converter
On 2000-2002 Tundra the Bank 1 Sensor 1 is located on the most front left side (your left sitting in the drivers seat). Right next to the rear end of the exhaust manifold, immediately ahead of the flange for the exhaust pip Fault Code PO155 02 Sensor Heater Fault (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
The P0155 refers to the Oxygen sensor on Bank 2, sensor 1. Bank 2 on your vehicle is on the passenger side of the engine. Sensor 1 is the first oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe coming from the engine.
The intake air temp. sensor or IAT is part of the mass airflow (MAF) sensor. If you remove the MAF sensor, you can see a 3-4 mm ball on the end of 2 wires. That is the IAT sensor. On a 2000 tundra it is the yellow/green and green/white wires. which on a wiring schematic is the tha and e2 terminal. hope that helps
What is stereo wiring color code for 2000 Toyota tundra?"
remove intake assy and its inside the engine block, you can see once you remove the intake.its bank 1 aND BANK 2
go to tundra solutions... all the experts are there....
The O2 sensor heater circuit helps warm up the O2 sensor. The purpose of this is to allow O2 sensor to get to normal operating temperature without having to wait for exhaust pipes to warm up so it can give accurate readings. It is built into O2 sensor.
