If you're referring to the 80s TV show and not the 2012 TV version. It follows the story of Vincent, a beast like creature living in an underground city in New York. In the pilot episode he saves the life of a beautiful woman named Catharine who he develops a relationship with. The series follows their relationship and Catharine as she solves crimes. It's pretty corny but fun.
