The Polar Bear would have the advantage due to heavier, taller, longer, stronger bite and stronger paw swipe. If you don't agree listen.Polar bear max weight 1760 lb(800 kg)Kodiak Bear max weight 1716 lb(780 kg) Polar Bear 5.1 feet tall Kodiak bear 5 feet tall Polar Bear 12 feet long Kodiak Bear 10 feet long. It depends on who was surprised. If the Eskimos were hunting, then most likely the Eskimo would win, because he would have long-range weapons and the advantage of numbers... but if an eskimo was fishing and a polar bear came up and it was all hand-to-claw combat... even if he had a knife handy.... the eskimo is dead. If he has a gun handy, it could go either way... depends on how fast he can move and how good his aim is.
none beats the mighty kodiak, sure a polar bear may have a dooffy elongated neck and some extra weight on his but, the kodiak bear has extreme layers of fat on his front and middle and back with an extra hump of muscle the polar bear does not have, the kodiak bear is more compact, the polar bear has a thinner skull smaller claws lease strength, a weaker bite forse and has no territorial experiance coping with preditors of his size. IZf we did not know about animals and came across a kodiak bear it would be titled the creature of the woods, the polar bear does look cool after he eats a walrus with the blood sticking out ddue to the white everywhere, kodiak bear wins
Kodiak Bears are the largest subspecies of Brown Bears and are found only on the on Kodiak Island off the Southern coast of Alaska. These Bears grow so much bigger than other Brown Bears and Grizzlies because they are able to feed on washed up whale carcasses as well as an abundance of Pacific Salmon. Brown Bears are some of the most aggressive animals on the planet.
The Polar Bear is the largest Bear on Earth. It is longer but more slender than the Kodiak. The Polar Bear is a social animal but when hungry it will attack and eat just about anything. Polar Bears most commonly attack seals but also will hunt Walrus and have even killed and eaten beluga whales.
This fight pits two massive bears with distinct backgrounds against each other. The Kodiak is a more aggressive species while the Polar Bear is experienced in killing very large prey. The two bears would attack each other head on with the Polar Bear getting the best of the first scrum with its longer arms and neck. The extreme layers of fat the Kodiak has would help it avoid fatal injuries. The Brown Bear, experienced in many territorial fights with other large bears, would retaliate with all of its strength and weight. This charge from the massive Kodiak would knock the Polar bear to the ground and it would never get back up.
None conquers the mighty Kodiak, the polar bear may have a little more fat on his but a Kodiak as extreme layers of fat and a hump on his back for extra muscle, a thicker skull and bigger claws. A kodiak can break the make of a full grown moose and kill caribou with as little as one swipe of the massive paw sledge hammer.
Kodiak bears can win easily against lions when they are heavier, larger, and have sharper claws/teeth. A lion is a good fighter, but the kodiak bear is still capable of killing the lion.
Polar bear.
Kodiak bears are the largest subspecies of brown bear. They equal polar bears in size. These two bears are the largest members of Carnivora.
Hard to say in a real fight, both are large powerful bears, but in interactions between the two species, brown/grizzlies seem to dominate the polar bears.
Grizzlies, Eurasian brown bear. Polar bears are distantly related.
Grizzly bears, brown/Kodiak bears and polar bears.
Both polar and brown bears can weigh over 1500 pounds for an adult male.
The back bear would be the largest. If you took time you could find it in a diffrent place. But yes is one of the larger bears. The largest type of bear in the United States is the brown bear, also called the grizzly bear. They can weigh 150 to 1,700 pounds, and when they stand on two legs, they can be ten feet tall. If you count Alaska, the answer would be the Kodiak bear, which is a type of brown bear, but bigger.
The brown bear [Ursus arctos], especially the Kodiak bear [Ursus arctos middendorffi]; and the polar bear [Ursus maritimus].
Brown bears, black bears ,Grizzly bearsActually, grizzly bears are brown bears (brown bears is the species name, and it includes Kodiak, Russian Brown Bears and Grizzlies among others). Also, there are Polar Bears in Canada as well. So the answer is Brown (Grizzly and Kodiak), Black, and Polar bears.brown grizzly and kodiak bears, black, and polar bears live in Canada
Brown.
The largest bears of each species are similar in size, over 1200 pounds or more.
Polar bears may be somewhat longer, and stand a bit taller, but large male brown bears can be as heavy as male polar bears, to nearly 1500 pounds.
The Polar bear. It is larger, much more carnivorous, more beastly, and stronger than a grizzly bear or a kodiak bear.
