Power steering gone checked oil level changed pump changed wiring loom form the steering wheel to the pump still wont work 2002 golf td 14 any suggestions?

Your power steering pump runs a power steering rack on that model I believe. If your vehicle has many miles, the rack bushings may not be maintaining internal pressure. The steering rack may need to be replaced. I have not worked on this model of car, however, this is a common problem on many domestic cars. I hope this helps you. Mark

You can remove the steering will, on your Ford Ranger pickup truck, by removing the steering wheel pin. Remove the wiring harness and the steering wheel will come off.

No it is not. They changed the wiring in 2007, it is no longer "plug and play".

changed seliniod on starter and on firewall ,checked fuses still won't turn over, if I cross the upper seliniod with a screw driver it turns over but won't start?

It is either the speed sensor or the wiring. Have it checked out.

You would suspect the switch if when the steering is turned hard over the engine stalls or stumbles.To definitively diagnose:You will need a scanner that will real time read what the sensors are telling the engine computer. When the switch fails to operate it will be seen on the scanner. Even then this can lead to a false diagnoses as a wiring fault could disconnect the switch from the computer. So the wiring and connections should be checked before replacement.

The alarm switch system is not working right. This could be a door switch, or a wiring problem. the system needs to be checked one switch at a time, then the wiring is checked next.

Your Vue has electric steering therefore there is no pump. If you have no power strg you have an electrical problem........with the power steering unit or wiring to it. Troubles codes can be read for the steering to help in diagnostics

To repair a horn on the 1978 Chevy pickup, first check to make sure the wiring is correct. Then, remove the steering wheel cover in order to check to be sure the wiring is connected to the steering wheel.

You can find the 1994 Chevy Cheyenne steering column wiring diagram at most Chevrolet dealerships. Chevrolet service manuals will also have the diagram and can be found at most local libraries.

because its a mopar. j/k most likely because main operating systems ie brakes, steering column, cruise control wiring, gauge cluster, so on is on the other side.

Drain the fluid from the power steering pump. Remove the power steering hose. Remove the wiring harness from the power steering pump. Remove the power steering pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new power steering pump.

There isn't much to diagnose. Either the electronic steering works or does not. You can check that the wiring harness or wires are not damaged, but when a power steering failure occurs with the electronic steering on the cobalt the electronic steering component must be replaced.

If the brake lights are not coming on in your car and you have changed the bulbs and the fuses with no results, you could also check the wiring in your '98 Chevrolet Lumina. The wires may be damaged or even broken.

Yes the steering columns are BUT it looks different and you may need to change the wiring harness and it depends if there the same year?
