For experimental calculation:
Mass the graphite sample with a scale (make sure to take into account the mass of whatever is holding the graphite sample - either zero the scale with the beaker/holder before adding the sample or subtract the mass of the beaker/holder from the total mass).
Measure volume by measuring water displacement when graphite sample is added to a measured amount of water.
Density = (Mass) / (Volume)
Graphite is an elemental form of carbon with a density of 2. 09â??2. 23 g/cm3. Compared to diamond, it is considerably less dense.
It's really not that simple. Carbon comes in various different forms (coal, graphite, diamond) which do not all have the same density; furthermore, it would be useful to know what kind of comparison you want to make. Carbon is not as dense as iron. It is denser than air. I would say that it is moderately dense.
Graphite is black and posseses dull appearance
Graphite Powder or graphite is the slippery type of Carbon! :) hope I helped! :P
Graphite.
Graphite is a form of carbon.
Diamond , nearly twice that of graphite. (charcoal is not a fair comparison it is a porous partially combusted wood product composed mainly of graphite but there are many impurities.)
Graphite is less dense than diamond, due to the differences in crystal structure.

It Should have the same density as carbon since its a (insert vocabulary word here). Ex: carbon is graphite and diamond, just made different ways. :)
Graphite (I think)
because carbon graphite had carbon but graphite does not have carbon
Lead and graphite are two entirely different materials.Lead is a heavy and dense metal; it is soft, malleable, and melts at a low temperature. It is also toxic.Graphite occurs naturally and is a form of crystalline carbon.Though people often refer to a lead pencil, the lead in the pencil is in fact graphite.
The atoms in a diamond crystal are in an arrangement called "cubic closest packing". As you might guess from the name, this packs the maximum amount of atoms in the minimum possible space, so diamonds are more dense than, say, graphite, which doesn't pack its atoms as closely together.
You think probable to graphite.
No, graphite is not renewable.
Graphite does not have a transparency.
