1. remove the alternator belt
a. loosen the adjusting pivot bolt and the lock bolt on the alternator
b.remove belt from alternator
2. loosen the lock and pivot bolts and push the Power Steering pump towards the engine and manoeuvre the belt from the engine
3. replace belt
4. push power steering pump back until the specified deflection is obtained tighten the lock nut and the pivot nut.
5. reattach the alternator belt the same way you removed it.
6. once the new belt has been installed run the engine for approximately 5 minutes and re check the tension in the belt, adjust if necessary
