∙ 12y agoBasically, the Percy Jackson books are About a Boy (Percy) who discovers that his father is a greek god. To make matters worse, Zeus thinks Percy stole his master bolt, which is a very powerful weapon. Percy must recover this weapon to clear his name, as well as his fathers, as Poseidon (his dad) is suspected of asking Percy to steal this weapon to gain power over Zeus. He is assisted by Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr.

The Lightning Theif is a book about a boy named Percy. Percy is dyslexic, and has a best friend named Grover, who has been excused from gym for the rest of his life because of a problem he has with his legs. One day on a field trip, something strange happens to Percy's enemy teacher Mrs. Dodds - which starts a whole new journey for Percy.
Percy turns out to be a half-blood - the son of Posiden, actually. He goes to Camp Half-Blood, for all the demi-gods.
Suddenly, Zeus, Posiden's brother, accuses Percy of stealing his deadliest weapon - his master lightning bolt. Along the way, Percy makes another friend, Annabeth, and an enemy, Clarisse (daughter of Ares).
Join Percy in his adventure to find the lightning bolt of Zeus, his Uncle god!
